PBWC Awards $5,000 Scholarships to California's Outstanding Students

PBWC continued its proud tradition of recognizing the academic and personal
achievements of high school girls by awarding three $5,000 scholarships for 2007.

In an awards ceremony on May 1st, thousands of PBWC members and supporters celebrated the achievements of this year’s honorees:

Ariana Afshar, Notre Dame High School (pictured 2nd from left)

Krissa Quero, Mountain View High School (pictured 2nd from right)

Amaka Uzoh, Saint Francis High School (pictured center)

Also pictured are PBWC CEO Helen Mendel (left) and Director-at-Large Microsoft's Laura Wallace (pictured right).

Scholarship winners can apply the funds to an undergraduate academic program in an accredited institution.
