Submission process
We accept articles that meet our standards for educational content that is relevant to our audience and presents a balanced perspective. We consider unpaid and previously unpublished contributions.
Step 1: Send a rough draft. Our timeline for evaluating proposals ranges from 2-4 weeks. Proposals that do not receive a response after 30 days should be considered declined. We strive to respond to all the proposals we receive. Due to the overwhelming number of inquiries, we cannot always guarantee a timely response.
Checklist - What to submit
• Unformatted article pasted in email or attached as MS Word document (500-750 words; please include a 1 sentence summary of the article and your 3 key takeaways)
• 2-3 resources for more information, such as recommended websites, books, blogs
• 2 sentence author bio with company name and website link
• Author headshot in color (attach as separate file)
• Optional: Proposed sidebar(s) such as tip lists, lessons learned, glossary of terms, etc.
• Optional: diagram or illustration
Step 2: If your idea is accepted, we will reply with feedback from the editorial board. At this stage your article is under evaluation. We don't guarantee publication until we evaluate and accept your final article.
