During a quick stopover the previous day, U.S. Congresswoman and PBWC Founder Jackie Speier thrilled guests at the VIP reception before heading back to Washington, D.C. Connections magazine was on hand to enjoy special guest, ABC News and NPR host Cokie Roberts, who treated guests to a signed copy of her new book, "Ladies of Liberty: The Women Who Shaped Our Nation" (Morrow).
